Army Europe Libraries provides access to a broad scope of library resources that are readily accessible 24 hours a day from anywhere with Internet access. Check out our wide variety of electronic databases and downloadable eContent that includes eBooks, eAudiobooks, and eVideo. Also, visit our Soldier Portal where you can find links to useful information, test preparation materials (select “Test Prep” tab), and language learning materials.
Soldiers may request up to five books at a time while downrange. To do this, notify your home library that you are deployed to update your library account and start requesting books online. When you find a book you are interested in, click
to request it.
Deployed soldiers are welcome to use the 24/7 Ask a Librarian service and are eligible to receive Playaway books.
Deployed or deploying Soldiers can request monthly paperback book and audio book kits for their units. Email mwr.library@us.army.mil for more information.
If you already have an account from a U.S. Army library in Europe, please contact your library to update your account for deployed services. If you do not yet have an account and would like to receive library services while deployed, please fill out our online deployed self registration form.
To learn more about services downrange, please download our deployed brochure (pdf).
